The Calm Before The Storm

Hi there! It's been almost 4 months since I logged in blogger and what greeted me was a really really weird-looking dashboard. Hmm, actually that's what most people think when a website comes out with a new layout. For instance, the current Facebook homepage layout which was new about like 6 months ago. When they changed it, most people were like 'OH WTF DEVELOPERS, CHANGE IT BACK!!' I, too, was one of them hehheh. But somehow people just learn to adapt to it and now I actually prefer the current Facebook layout to the previous one. It's all about getting used to something new, unless of course the change is really.. umm how do I put it delicately.. gay hehe. This morning when I woke up I looked outside and the surroundings outside was what I like to call 'The calm before the storm'. This is actually the BEST time to just take a stroll outside. The cool winds, the half-lighted sky with dark clouds on one side, birds flying to seek shelter.. Somehow I get goosebumps when I walk outside in this kind of weather, the good kind of goosebumps though =] Let's see what else shall I rant about. Going to a dinner function at Kuching Mandarin Restaurant this Saturday. What urks me is that 'Steamed Tilapia fish' is on the menu. I, for one, do NOT like eating food which was alive 30 minutes ago. DO NOT SUPPORT KILLING ANIMALS ON THE SPOT LIKE IN THOSE SEAFOOD RESTAURANTS! Call me a hypocrite for being a meat-lover but I do NOT agree in some of the methods they use to kill live fish, prawns, etc in restaurants. I heard that some of the fish are steamed alive my lawd! Poor fish :( Newfound addiction : Browsing for antiques on Ebay. I fancy old stuff, ever since I was a little boy I've always loved browsing through those second hand stores. My mom would pull me out though because she's afraid that some of the stuff there are linked to some spiritual essence which is not of Christianity. Especially in antiques where there's a load of charms around. Have to be wise here. However, only with some cash in the bank is ebaying fun. Window shopping isn't fun even when it's online hehheh. Dad yakking to off the modem.. till next time!
