Our subconscious minds subconsciously revealed.

Hello there, dear reader.
I'm sure the header has ignited your interest in reading this blogpost.

"The best moments in life are hanging out with close friends and just enjoying the warm atmosphere subconsciously created by being close to each other."

Well, I'll get to that as soon as I'm done with my opening lame humor :D

Trolling friend snapped a pic of me sleeping when sleeping over at my place last night. Kinda dig this pic cuz it's nice to see how one sleeps xD.

Next up, take a look at these two lovebird otters. AWWW. <3 br="">

Anyhoo, back to the point. Today I'm gonna elaborate and rant on the weird mechanisms on how our subconscious mind could express itself in the form of dreams. This effect is particularly imminent in times where we feel stressed out about a situation in which we keep thinking about it all the time. We try hard NOT to delve so much about it but subconsciously we cannot deny that that particular situation is indeed bugging us. If we try hard enough, yes we can actually stop thinking about it. But deep down, our subconscious will continue to ponder about it even if we try to deny the gravity of the situation and how deeply it affects our emotions. I was thinking about a situation I was facing a few weeks back. I'm not gonna elaborate on what that situation is but that night, I had a dream about that situation. It's like the dream reflects what I consciously try to avoid thinking about but am subconsciously aware that it is important to me. Strange how our dream system works. I'm sure that most of us have an idea of what I'm talking about through personal experience. In short, if we keep thinking about a certain situation, which stresses us out, the dream will come eventually. But the dream in my case is on the positive side of the situation. It's like the other side of the situation when things were still ok and I felt happy and gleeful in the dream as though as the situation was resolved. In these types of dreams, we often wake up with a smile on our faces. I'm pretty sure you have woken up with a smile before some time in your life.
My point is, there's a correlation between our dreams and our subconscious mind. You can experiment with this hypothesis if you feel somewhat skeptical about it.

I'm just gonna tell you a glimpse about my dream. I was with this close friend in a weird but really tall building. We were on the first floor where a convention was being held. I can't seem to remember what the convention was about though. What I do remember is that I found a guitar made of coconut shells. WTF I know right? Sounds ridiculous but in a dream, even the ridiculous seems normal. Anyway, my friend and I played some songs on the coconut-made guitar... or was it a guitar? Not sure, all I remember was that it was a stringed instrument. Then we rode the lift up but there were so many people in the lift that we decided to go out and catch the next lift. We were just talking and talking like we were so close. We were enjoying each other's company which was heart-lifting. Then we caught the next lift up, in the middle of going up, I awoke. Then I realized it was just a dream, darn. If only that was reality cuz I was really REALLY happy in that dream whilst spending time with that friend of mine.

How true, as you progress in life you will realize that life isn't about just reaching your destination, goal or target; instead what makes life truly worth living is learning to dance in the rain or in other words, enjoying the process of living itself. Delve on it.

Professional exam next week argh. Hope for the best peeps! -crosses fingers-
