BIG BAD WOLF

Yo peeps, I dropped by the Big Bad Wolf book fair last week which was apparently the LAST DAY of it being held at Mines Shopping Mall.
What's this big bad wolf book shyt, you may ask?
Well....

Just don't ask me why they named it Musang Sial Besar. -.-

Anyway, this is gonna be a post filled with pictures of books which I 'window-shopped' in the fair. Google window-shopping if you don't get it.

Came across this interesting book about a girl resisting the abstract temptation of a chocolate. Enjoy~

OWH HEL NO, SHE CHOSE TO EAT THE OH-SO-FATTENING CHOCOLATE! LOLOLOLOLOL!
FAT FAT ADIPOSE LIPIDS KEGEMOKAN MARI DATANG! LOL.

OH OH THE NEXT BOOK IS GOOOOOD JUST GOOOOOD!
WHAT IF YOUR PROF ASKS YOU OUT FOR DINNER?

FAWK YEAH, BANG THE SHYT OUT OF HER HAHHAH! LITERALLY LAFFED MY ASS OFF THERE AND THEN.

The following books are the books which I purchased for RM8 each, which is insanely cheap. :D

Seriously, the olden English used in Charles Dickens' books require a substantial mastery of the English language to comprehend. Not recommended for people whom second language is English.

Salvation & Jesus

Hey there, peeps.
Woke up this morning to the news of my aunt collapsing from her chair.
Sadly, she passed away on the way to the hospital.
We kinda expected this to happen eventually because her condition was already dire.
She passed away from heart failure.
I'm actually typing this right now at the wake ceremony.
In a way, I'm thank God that she's finally liberated from her misery and suffering.
We pray that God have mercy on her soul and grant her eternal rest in heaven.

Let me quote a portion of verse from the Bible.
Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and whoever lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?"
She said to him, "Yes Lord; I believe that you are the Christ, the Son of God, he who is coming into the world." (John 11:17, 20-27)

I shall now quote the sinner's prayer according to the Christian faith.
"If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and truth is not in us. But if we confess our sins, God is faithful and will forgive our sins and cleanse us from unrighteousness. Most merciful God, we confess that we are in bondage to sin and cannot free ourselves. We have sinned against you in thought, word and deed, by what we have done and by what we have left undone. We have not loved you with our whole heart. We have not loved our neighbours as ourselves. For the sake of your son Jesus Christ, have mercy on us so that we may delight in your will and walk in your ways, to the glory of Your holy name. Amen."
"In the mercy of Almighty God, Jesus Christ has given his life for us, and for His sake, God forgives us all our sins. To all who believe in Jesus Christ, He gives the authority to become children of God, and bestows on them the Holy Spirit. Amen."

The congregation also sang this lovely song entitled 'Sweet By and By'.
The lyrics of this song is simply beautiful.
I'll quote the lyrics below:

There's a land, that is fairer than day;
And by faith we can see it afar;
For the Father waits over the way;
To prepare us for a dwelling place there;
In the sweet by and by;
We shall meet again on that beautiful shore one day;
In the sweet by and by.

We shall sing on that beautiful shore;
The melodious songs of the blessed;
And our spirits shall sorrow no more;
Not a sigh for the blessing of rest;
In the sweet by and by;
We shall meet again on that beautiful shore one day;
In the sweet by and by.

To our bountiful Father above;
We will offer the tribute of praise;
For the glorious gift of His love;
And the blessings that hallow our days;
In the sweet by and by;
We shall meet again on that beautiful shore one day;
In the sweet by and by.

And of course, we sang another wonderful and touching hymn entitled 'Amazing Grace'.
I'm sure alot of us are familiar with this hymn.
I almost burst into tears when we sang it as the lyrics really mean alot to a person who believes in Jesus.
One has to experience God's goodness to really comprehend the gravity of the lyrics in this hymn.
Here're the lyrics:

Amazing grace, how sweet the sound;
That saved a wretch like me;
I once was lost, but now am found;
Was blind, but now I see.

'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear;
And grace my fears relieved;
How precious did that grace appear;
The hour I first believed.

Through many dangers, toils and snares;
I have already come;
'Tis grace hath brought me safe thus far;
And grace will lead me home.

When we've been there ten thousand years;
Bright shining as the sun;
We've no less days to sing God's praise;
Than when we first begun. Amen.

I'm thankful to God that because through my dad, nearly everyone in my extended family came to know and eventually accept the Lord Jesus as their personal lord and saviour.
Thank Jesus that they all chose to believe in Jesus before they died as their salvation is now at hand. Not by merits, as no one in the whole world deserves to go to heaven as we are all sinners. Only by God's grace through the death and resurrection of Jesus on the cross, can we freely come back to Him.
Salvation is purely by God's grace, no human merit or whatever extend of charitable deeds could earn our souls salvation.
Grace is therefore defined as the mercy and undeserved favour of God for us. He died in our place on the cross, shed His precious blood on the cross so that we may have the forgiveness of sins and obtain salvation freely.
After both my paternal grandparents died, my dad received a vision in which he saw both of them running joyfully and happily in a beautiful field in heaven and they were both in their youths again!
Praise the Lord for giving them a golden opportunity to receive salvation while they were still alive!

What I learnt from the passing of my aunt is that life's too short like a fleeting moment of a burning candle.
Therefore, we should live our lives built on the foundation of both fearing and loving our Lord Jesus.
I pray that the Lord would use me as His vessel and instrument to reach out to my non-christian friends so they can join me in heaven next time.
I simply cannot bear the picture of the people whom are important to me and whom I care about choosing to reject God and subsequently unable to enter into heaven with me next time.
The picture of that happening makes me feel so sad and grieved.
But in the end, everyone has to make his/her own choice whether to accept or reject God.
It's after all all about freewill ever since the beginning of time.
Even Satan had freewill before he chose to rebel against God.
Did you know that Satan was once an angel of light known as Lucifer?
He was one of the most beautiful beings created but he let his pride got the better of him and eventually chose to rebel against God.
However, his efforts failed miserably and he was cast out of paradise and subsequently became the father of all evil.
It's all about freewill in the end.
Don't let your choice on your faith be influenced by family and friends. Instead, you yourself have to decide whether you choose to accept Jesus or not.
I've made my own personal decision to accept Jesus without being influenced by anyone. It's by my own freewill and I have not looked back since.

In conclusion, I hope that the Lord will speak in a personal manner to each and everyone of you guys like He did to me.
Salvation is only obtainable through Jesus who died for our sins on the cross.
As Jesus said : "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6)

Evening jogs.

Let's see, how shall I label today as?
Woke up at 9am to a blackout, then dozed off again till 10am.
Then found out that my maxis fiber internet modem is fawked up.
Called Maxis customer service and they'll send a technician on Monday.
Which means that I'll have to pay for my 3G internet on my phone.
On the bright side, Kuan taught me how to activate my phone's 3G hotspot!
Soooo yeah, that's how I'm able to publish this blogpost.

This is what I wanna do to my maxis modem in my brains:

Anyhoo, I'll move on to the main topic for today.
Let's just say that my evening jogs in the park behind my condo is as eventful as ever.
2 days ago, I stopped in my tracks and became a lamppost to a pair of storks who were doing some weird mating ritual on the lake. I actually just stood there observing them for 10 minutes haha. While they were dancing and flying around, suddenly 1 stork flew away! OH NO WHAT IS THIS. The one who was left there looked so sad wtf. But fortunately the one who flew away landed not far from the previous spot and the sad bird turned happy again and met his mate in their new spot. Then they began the weird dancing and flying around ritual all over again, sheesh why can't they just have smex and be done with it? :DD

Next up, yesterday I stepped on a snail. I was like 'WTF' when I heard the sound 'CRAK' then looked down and saw a dead snail. I felt so bad oh lawd. Because I used to have a pet snail back in form 3. I used to keep staring at my pet snail like a no-life and admire it's 2 eyes which were always sticking out and hovering around like a blur little organism. I <3 blur punya organisms. Blur blur baru nice <3 And finally today, in fact just 30 minutes prior to the publishing of this blogpost, I witnessed a bird eating the living carcass out of a dead caterpillar. Again I was like 'wtf.. seriously?'. The caterpillar was so green and fat. When I came near to shoo the bird off, it flew off. Then I stared at the caterpillar which looked not-THAT eaten up, but there was no movement. Then my heart was filled with the-kind-of-feeling-that-people-get-when-they-see-something-that-could-have-happened-but-did-not. I mean, that caterpillar could be a beautiful butterfly if it didn't get nomnomnom-ed by that damn bird. But oh well, the cycle of life is there for some reason. I'm just a passerby. =)

On a random note, procrastination is the worst enemy to a student who's cramming for his/her finals. Sometimes I feel like doing this in my exam papers :

LOL HAHA MY LECTURER WOULD FAWK ME UPSIDE DOWN IF I DID THAT.
Okok , think I'll go do some embryology revision now.
Tata~

My friends and I at Pavillion posing as Ultraman during Christmas 2011. Ahh memories, that's precisely why I like to camwhore. So that I can look back next time and go sigh. =)

Invisible Barriers.

Whew.
Sigh of relieve.
Why, you may ask.
Let's just say that I'm glad that a fawking invisible barrier has been crumbled to fawking pieces between a friend and I.
Heart-to-heart talks just stay in one's heart for life. I don't think anyone would ever forget a meaningful conversation with an important friend.
When you really mean what you say to a person you care about, tears just start flowing down and your heart starts beating so freakin' fast.
The pastor in my new church was right when he said that if things aren't going well in the past week, just put your trust in God and He will make things better this week! Amen!

Lesson learnt : If there is a problem with someone or something, don't just stand there like a pussy, instead take the damn initiative to fix it! Take the leap of faith to confront that particular person. Regardless of how that person reacts, just know that you did what you had to do and your conscience is now clear. If you just let the problem go unfixed, you're actually thickening the invisible barrier between you and the other person. In the end, the one who would be miserable is you yourself. Which reminds me of my quote on my fb profile.

Quote : I'm a guy who always looks at life from a positive viewpoint. Simply because that's the only way to really live life to the fullest. Always turn a negative situation into a positive one to unlock the closed door in front of you. It all depends on your own decisions in life. Optimism or pessimism? You decide. :)

Life is all about making decisions. Sometimes, when a relationship with a friend is screwed up and you feel really REALLY terrible about it and can't stop thinking about it, it actually means that that particular friend is not just another friend but a really important friend to you. When you realize that fact, do not hesitate to take the step of courage to confront that person and speak what's in your heart. Notice I typed heart instead of mind. Because in situations like these, just listen to what your heart tells you, not what your stupid logical brain thinks. Cuz' happiness only comes when you listen to your heart. Screw the brain. This is what heart-to-heart conversations are. These types of conversations are the conversations which stay in your heart for life.

Anyhoo, my parcel from the States finally arrived today! Not bad, took 6 days to arrive from US to Malaysia via USPS Express International parcel service. Well it should've taken only 5 days but my parcel was opened and inspected by the Department of Pharmacy of Pos Malaysia haha.

Speaking of postage and mailmen, well....

LOL.

Recently bought a new accoustic guitar from The Curve. Can't stop playing it but need a person to teach me how to play chords. Blah, I'll worry about that after finals.

Song of the day :

A Thousand Years by Christina Perri

Heart beats fast
Colors and promises
How to be brave?
How can I love when I'm afraid to fall
But watching you stand alone?
All of my doubt suddenly goes away somehow..

My little nest.

Hello peeps!
Everyone loves weekends.
But why?
For most people, it's time to go out and enjoy with friends. Cineplex, karaoke, shopping, et cetera.
But for me, well... I just want to curl up on my bed with my bolster in my little nest wearing my comfy hoody with the air-con on full blast and the curtains all closed. Thus, hiding & shielding myself from the outside world. Just me, my bolster, and my little nest. :3

Exactly what I need after a whole week's load of work. Peaceful rest with 100% privacy. Just time for myself. <3 Anyway, listening to this soundtrack now. It's entitled 'Ano Natsu He' which is my favourite soundtrack from Spirited Away. Good peaceful song on a lazy Sunday afternoon. =)

But ALAS, I can't just relax and do nothing when there's the dreaded monday assessment tomorrow. Check out the number of slides I have to touch on the bottom of my desktop.

FIGHTING!! Pour midnight oil tonight! :D

HERE ARE SOME SCREENSHOTS FROM GUILD WARS 2! DAMN AWESHUM GAME!
Check out this melay chick rofl.

Anyway, to wrap this rather short post up, here's my favourite pic from my visit to some melay chick's house on Friday. LOL check out this female dog's pose, THE LEG OMG THE LEG SEDANG ANGKAT LIKE MODELING. HAHAHA. <3

Bacteria, GW2, Trolling

Sup peeps, these few days I've been experiencing brain fog, vomitting, sleepiness, blurness and other weird physiological disorders.

Narrowed the cause down to bacteria/germ infection from clogged sink cleaning or pesticide accumulation on unpeeled apple skins. 2 days ago, this weird red rash on my face appeared. And no, it ain't a pimple. It feels like a cluster of small little bumps when I touch it. Check it out :

BLAH SCREW THAT SHYT, think I'll follow my unique combo of garlic pills + detox tea to nurse my body back to the pinkiness of health! :D

Lemme rant about the history of garlic consumption.

HISTORY OF GARLIC

Garlic was rare in traditional English cuisine (though it is said to have been grown in England before 1548), and has been a much more common ingredient in Mediterranean Europe.

Builders of the ancient pyramids were said to eat garlic daily for enhanced endurance and strength.

Garlic was placed by the ancient Greeks on the piles of stones at cross-roads, as a supper for Hecate.

Roman emperors couldn't eat enough of it, as it was considered an antidote to poisons which were very popular in certain political circles of the time.

The Spanish have long used garlic as a preservative which helps to add creadence to it's anti-bacterial properties and whole books have been devoted to the health benefits of garlic.

The inhabitants of Pelusium in lower Egypt, who worshipped the onion, are said to have had an aversion to both onions and garlic as food.

European beliefs once considered garlic a powerful ward against demons, werewolves, and vampires. To ward off vampires, garlic could be worn, hung in windows or rubbed on chimneys and keyholes.

<3 plagiarizing.
For the benefits of garlic supplements, research on google.

Wish me luck, the same to you.

What I did for love, what I did for love.

Trolling

Yo peeps!
Just found out how to use the Printscreen button that has been well neglected for 3 whole years solely thanks to my negligent nature.
Sooooooo yeah, screenshotted the following pic from a video taken at Methodist College.

I can't believe that I drawed with a girl in arm-wrestling.

HAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH HAHAHHAHAHAH.
.......... oops.
(My heartiest respect for the cartoonist who 'thunk' of using a giraffe for a break-in)

Cartoons/animes with trolling in them are ALWAYS THE BEST!
The above pic is from Futurama, which is byfar the MOST EPIC TROLL CARTOON I've ever watched. Seriously, give it a watch. I'm sure you'll enjoy it provided that you're not blur cuz blur people will not understand the trolling parts.

Oh dear, now that I come to think of it, trolling takes a certain amount of BRAIN POWER to decipher the cynical nature of trolling hehhheh.
So basically, TROLL = INTELLECTUAL
LOLWAT.

Speaking of blur... I think of squids.

<3 DR ZOIDBERG, BOTAK HEAD :DD

Next up, a trolling screenshot from tROllnarok.

Sadistic, creeeeeppyyy, talks with a funny accent, et cetera.
These types of people belong in the funny farm.

Moving Blues.

HAPPY FRIDAY PEEPS! :D
Been feeling damn sleepy, lethargic, tired, exhausted, and basically every word in the English language which describes tiredness for the past few days because I've been sleeping on the couch (sofa) in my new unit as my bed frame hasn't been moved into my new room yet. MY POSTURE HAS BEEN SUFFERING, ARGH! Can't imagine how bent my backbone has become. I NEED A DOCTOR.
My shoulders are aching like an elephant's brain now. IDONTKNOWWHATTHATMEANSBUTIDONTCAREBLAH.

Anyhoo, so I have officially moved all my stuff into my new condo Cova Suites.
One word to describe the moving process.
Brutal.
Mhmm brutal, tiring, hectic, lethargic-causing, sprain-inducing, bruise-placing, et cetera.
Mere words just aren't enough to describe the agony my shoulders and arms had to endure in carrying my furniture and luggage all the way from Cova Villa to Cova Square.

Sigh but finally with the help of Ann Yong's father's workers, I was able to move my HUMONGOUS cupboard and bed frame into my new room here.

Here're some pics I took of my new condo.

The magnificent view of the Infinity-themed pool and park from my balcony. It's as if the world is at my feet. AHHHHHH... the feeling is just wonderful. (Y)

The dining hall.

The living room with some furniture we bought from the previous tenants.

Overall, RM550 rental for single small room is definitely worth it! I was lucky to get hold of this unit because Cova Suite is so much better than Cova Villa in terms of security, population density, privacy, et cetera. After moving to Cova Suites, I've been wondering how I've been surviving at Cova Villa for the past 2 months. Sheesh. I mean, RM350 rental for sleeping and doing my work in the living room? OH C'MON THAT SUCKS. FINALLY I'M OUTTA THERE and into a beautiful new unit. Thumbs up!

Gotta get back into shape, MUST BUILD MY 6-PAX ABS AGAIN! NO PAIN WHEN KENA PUNCH! That's pure satisfaction hehe.

To conclude, here's a very interesting chick on fb chat. This female never fail to amuse me. LOL :D
