Success & Respect

Hello again, my dear readers.
Blog traffic packed with visitors going to my PLKN post.

Guess the young visitors are just as anxious about National Service as I was about 3 years ago. A word of advice though, just have fun in your respective NS camps or you definitely will experience 3 months of imprisonment (based on personal experience).

Back to the topic for today : Success & Respect (A man's viewpoint)

Let's see, where do I start..
Woke up this morning at 5am looking like this :

Can't seem to explain the weird mechanisms of the human brain, constantly stimulated at the most unearthly hours.
Imagine what it's like to actually 'think about life and all its constituents at 5am'.
I usually only think of such things in the shower heh.

Logged in my fb and decided to change my cover photo as some of my friends said that my old one looks retarded hahah, change is always for the better I suppose.
So I made a new cover photo!

"Never be complacent in life, (rather) keep aiming higher to achieve things you'd never thought or dream of EVER because you have the potential to do so. It's all a matter of willpower, determination & perseverance."

Thought of that phrase on success in less than 5 minutes, guess that's really what I believe in deep within. In a man's perspective, respect is only given to those who really worked hard for their accomplishments. I agree with this opinion thoroughly, it goes the same with working out. Guys born with big arms and taunting guys with smaller arms because they were born that way sometimes really irks me. Now if those tough guys actually WORKED HARD for their muscles instead of being born with it, then I've no comment and would actually join in the taunting hahah! After all, if guys aren't satisfied with their current muscle status, they should take the initiative to work hard to build em, not just sitting around complaining about how their genes suck. Just saying.

The same thing goes about education, people who always display consistency in achieving excellent results in their studies are always respected by their fellow coursemates because respect just comes naturally towards hardworking and diligent people. Take some time to ponder about it.

Anyway, to conclude here's a piano recital by yours truly.

Enjoy :)
